No matter how small or large the incident our first concern is to let the customer know exactly what we intend to do and the processes which we will go through to return the property to pre-incident condition. Each individual case is then assessed and monitored to achieve the fastest possible solution. With the right drying system and correct levels of evaporation and dehumidification we can strive to dry properties in the shortest period of time.
As the fabric of buildings have changed over the years we at Fast Forward are constantly educating ourselves in drying equipment and processes to best address these changes. Injection drying of plasterboard walls is just one of these methods which is both quick and less destructive than old methods both reducing reinstatement works and disruption to the client. Our aim is to continue improving our drying techniques to minimise stripping out works which in turn reduces the stress to our clients, and making more economic sense.
It is imperative that items of contents are assessed and dealt with as soon as possible especially those items of high value and personal interest. Under certain circumstances i.e little or no electrics or where properties are not secure from the elements Fast Forward can quickly remove these items and place them in dedicated drying chambers at our premises. This increases the number of items which can be returned to a pre incident condition by reducing the risk of secondary damage i.e. mould growth
