With the growing appreciation of loss limitation it is essential to access the situation, identify the main aspects and implement a works schedule as soon as possible. On many fire jobs water has also been introduced which means it is even more important to remove salvageable items as increased humidity and acid from soot particles can cause rusting as smoke starts to penetrate metals. Stabilising an environments is the key aspect in loss limitation. Over the years Fast Forward has examined all aspects of loss limitation and as a direct result addressed the majority of these issues. With large storage facilities, and cleaning work shops at our premises large quantities of items can be removed from site cleaned and stored.
Also due to many items being unsalvageable purely due to an odour problem we have again introduced many more odour eliminating controls such as the use of ozone chambers and portable ozone machines.
